What we keep, and why.

Zia Goods moves cargo, not data. This page says, in plain words, what this website collects, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01 Who we are

This website belongs to Zia Goods, a transport company at Plot #ST-15, Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan. We decide what the site collects and what is done with it, and we answer for it.

02 What you send us

The capacity request form asks for the cargo, where it moves from and to, the volume, your name and phone number, and, if you choose, your company, email and a note.

We use these details only to answer your request: to quote, to plan the lane and to arrange the carriage you ask for. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t contact you about anything else unless you ask us to. The site is for businesses and isn’t meant for children.

03 How a request reaches us

When you send the form, our website’s server passes it to our sales inbox through an email delivery service. A copy is also written to the server’s log, so a request is never lost if delivery fails; those logs are deleted automatically after a short time.

04 What the website measures

To see which pages are read and how quickly they load, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They count page views, the site you came from, your country, your browser, operating system and type of device, and loading times. They use no cookies, don’t identify you, and report only totals.

Like every website, ours also receives the technical details your browser sends with each request — its IP address, the browser and the page asked for. Our host uses them to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse.

05 What stays in your browser

A few preferences are kept in your browser’s own storage, not in cookies, and never leave your device: whether the interface sounds are on, whether you chose the Lite version, and, for the tab you have open, whether the home page’s introduction and the menu’s have already played, so they don’t repeat at full length. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.

06 Who else handles it

Two companies handle data for us, and only to provide their service to us: Vercel, which hosts the website and runs its analytics, and Resend, which delivers the form’s requests to our inbox. Their servers may be outside Pakistan, including in the United States. We share nothing with advertisers or data brokers.

07 How long we keep it

A request, and anything we exchange about it, is kept while we’re discussing or carrying out work with you, and after that only as long as our business and tax records require. Analytics are kept as totals, with nothing in them that points to you.

08 What you can ask us

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Write to us through the contact page, or at Plot #ST-15, Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan, and say what you’d like done. We’ll answer within 30 days.

09 Keeping it safe

The whole site is served over HTTPS, the form is checked on our server whatever the browser sends, and access to requests is limited to the people who answer them. If you find a security problem with the website, please tell us (see our security.txt).
